Lol despite prisma can take you jail any second, the ‘actual’ plot is great. Back then I thought it was going to be slice-of-life with comedy like emiya’s gohan and carnival phantasms. At the end of the day, it’s still Fate series.

do not be lured in by the fan service fights. This is the fbi watchlist fate anime after all

Nus Nus

The fate animes dont show everything. Shirou can also trace excalibur and in one ending he 1v1s saber alter and they kill each other

Prillya has some absolutely peak fights and great character development... but when the fanservice is bad, it's really bad. Honestly it's still worth watching IMO, but it would probably have to be a patreon exclusive as it's too risky for watching live. As far as how Illya was able to project Excalibur, I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Illya's magic circuits are of a much higher quality than Shirou's. Plus she has some other factors working in her favour here, which I don't think I can go into without spoilers.

Prisma isn't 18+, at least in crunchyroll where I live. Plus they never show nipples or anything close to that, so I don't know why you think the show is risky for twitch.

K K

No matter how much people who never watched this show hate it, they can't ignore the fact that it sold enough to get 4 seasons and 3 movies, with a 4th on the way. They made more prisma anime than FGO anime while FGO is the game that makes millions. Goes to show how the anime and manga of Prisma are enough to fund so much for Type-Moon.

Nus Nus

Fgo made billions and is funding 90% of type moon

It's truly fascinating how the game is still successful even though it needs a revamp to look a bit more modern in my opinion. My only wish is if they could take a tiny bit of that fgo money and make an open world MMO :')

You don't deserve the best if you skip the worst. That's how it works with everything: Jojo, One piece. You need to eat the outer part of the cake to get to the hidden part inside of it.

It is worth suffering through the fanservice for, it's a genuinely good series overall. And I might be being too paranoid about it being too risky for twitch, as K K said there's nothing explicit in it or anything like that (though there are one or two scenes that go as close to the line as they can whilst remaining technically PG)

Yeah the game is basically a time capsule from 2015. And yet it will still hit #1 in the app store in Japan in 2024 off the Mahoyo collab or a rerun banner. I don’t think they’ll ever bring FGO up to modern gacha graphics standards. But maybe FGO 2…

You know man, after seeing you enjoy seeing ilya fight using all these archer abilities, I think you should watch archer's fight against berserker from the 2006 fate stay night, it's not as well animated, but archer's uses most of his arsenal there, which is why you aren't familiar with the trace overedge which ilya did to make her twin swords that huge. If you aren't gonna watch the 2006 fate stay night, I advise watching that particular fight scene at least

Oh yeah that's a great idea! Honestly I even planned to watch the entire 2006 fate at some point since I love fate so much
