Since it’s also anniversary there’s two more guaranteed ssrs , the first is separated by class and year. The second is one servant out of all servants you choose , you basically make your own guaranteed gacha

As a first time Babyloniya watcher wtf was that episode 0! Like it did have some important lore but also skipped so much and dragged out parts that did not need to imo. Big thing is they did not explain who the King of Mages was that they keep yapping about in Camelot and Babylonia. Mini Essay for you about that since the show decided not to tell you. In the London Singularity they discover who the big bad is behind Lev, its the Grand Caster King Solomon, the King of Mages (the King Solomon from the Bible) hes the one who put grail across the time creating the singularities in order to incinerate human history. Also that's when they talk about what a Grand servant is, which is in basic terms the strongest heroic spirit of that class from their era. The qualification for each class is different but multiple Heroic Spirits can qualify for the Grand of their class. An example you would know is Grand Assassin being King Hassan. Also in each singularity they fight one of Solomon's familiars the Demon God Pillars, this fight was skipped over in the Camelot Movies. The first two actual episodes were actually great, Phenomenal adaption so far from the perspective of a FGO player. The action is so good, and I had no idea coming in that the Apocrypha sound designer was making a return, my ears were not ready. Also the booty was perfect. Blue Lock is so peak, the stakes are insane. All the characters are so unhinged, but you got to be some level of crazy to be the best.

Ok Merlin “I’m alive forever in Avalon but technically I can be summoned as a heroic spirit servant since I’m “dead” in the past before I was born”. I love that Fate basically sticks to its own rules around magic, except when it wants to bend them enough to get the preferred servant into the story. That said we actually know a servant, quite well in fact, who is straight-up alive meaning they technically not a heroic “spirit” since they have not yet died at the point at which they were summoned.

Now I'm interested in checking out all the Grand servants of their respective class cuz King Hassan was an absolute BEAST!

LOL I'd forgotten how blatant those camera angles were in episode 1. They do call it Bootylonia for a reason! Glad to see you starting Babylonia, I think you'll enjoy it.
