Without a doubt one of the greatest arcs in anime and I can't wait to watch more!

Okay, my opinion of skip/watch for Bleach filler (no spoilers for canon material other than arc names, very vague spoilers for filler material). Sorry in advance for the length, Bleach has a lot of filler: • Episodes 64-108: The Bount Arc. Takes place between the Soul Society and Arrancar arcs. Anime-only canon. Skip. I'm actually a rare Bount arc enjoyer, but... it's way, way too long. It has some cool characters, some great worldbuilding, some good character development for Uryu... but it should have been like 15 episodes, not 45. • Episodes 128-137: Episodic filler to pad out the start of the Arrancar arc. Anime-only canon. Skip or watch at your discretion. Mostly just an excuse to spend some more time with certain characters before the plot really gets going again. • Episodes 147-149: The only filler I'd say you absolutely should watch. Anime-only canon, but main canon compliant. A small side story that Kubo wanted to put in the manga but didn't have room for. • Episodes 168-189: The Amagai Shusuke arc. Non-canon. Skip. An okay but not great filler arc that doesn't fit anywhere in canon. Skip unless Kira is your favourite character, he gets to do a lot in this arc. • Episodes 204-205: random crack filler episodes. Non-canon. Skip. • Episodes 213-214: random side character filler episodes. Maybe anime-only canon? Skip. • Episodes 228-266: Zanpakuto Rebellion arc. Non-canon. Skip but maybe come back and watch it after you're done with the main series, it's quite good and has some banger character designs. • Episodes 287, 298-299, 303-304, 311-316: Random filler episodes. Non-canon. Skip. * Episodes 317-341: Invading Army arc. Takes place between the Arrancar and Lost Agent arcs. Anime-only canon. Skip or watch at your discretion. Decent story, animation quality actually gets a slight upgrade, Kon gets to be relevant for once. • Episode 355: Random filler episode. Non-canon. Skip.
