We rly are so lucky to be alive to witness this. These are some phenomenal episodes. This anime is already guaranteed anime of the season, and at this rate, an easy contender for anime of the year. - Hearing "Mr. Stand" and reading "Firm Man" at the same time kinda threw off a bit. - Whoa whoa whoa. Hold up. Listen. Hear me out. Wolf Girl is kinda... you know... 👀 - Also as you can see, heroes in this anime are powered up by their Trust Value, which is based off of the foundation of their fans' support (a hero's fanbase quite literally makes them who they are, so the hero cannot betray their fans' expectations). The organizations try to boost it cuz the higher a hero's Trust Value is, the stronger they are. Conversely, without any Trust Value, the heroes are just ordinary people (deadass, if you wanna kill all of the heroes, just kill the fans; ez dub). In addition, the powers can also have some unwanted side effects, like with Firm Man having to stand up all the time and Nice having to be a perfectionist all the time (I assume the higher the Trust Value, the stronger these effects are). - Wow, Firm Man is hella goated 🐐 - What the what, Moon getting kidnapped came out of nowhere 😭 - Lin Ling abandoning the Nice persona so that the Nice fans cannot suppress him was a great move on him. - Holy moly, what a sasugafest! Peak animation. Peak cinema. Anime of the season 🏆 - The Commoner is such a fitting name for him. - WTF, I SAID THE SAME THING TOO. WHY TF DID TOJI REINCARNATE INTO THIS ANIME?! WHY DID MOON DO WRONG TO DIE LIKE THIS?! (technically, this is Gojo's fault, cuz if he didn't kill Toji, then Toji wouldn't have spawned here and do this 🔫🤯🌙💀) Overall, I can NOT wait for the next episode. 10/10

YO THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING!!!! Black hair wolf girl? Best girl already 🔥 And yeah you hit the nail with the trust value + the side effects cuz the stronger you are, the more abilities you'll have to use and also maintain the most perfect image possible so it's basically both physically and mentally straining the better you are. I guess that's why Nice ended himself in the first episode. Can you imagine if the guy in the last scene actually has Tojo's VA? Nah I'm gonna flip tf out

Lemme paste a comment i saw on a discussion place about Firm Man "【不倒】 literally means "[person who does] not stoop/fall down". In one sense, this means that he will not bend to anything; in another sense, it means that he will no longer stoop to the level of average people. In other words, he's no longer able to act in a humble way, instead only standing tall as the very symbol of a hero. I feel like this was conveyed much better in the original Chinese than the English subs or dubs, where it probably went over a lot of people's heads because his name is now "Firm Man". The scene at the end, where he says he's going to have dinner with some friends, is quite important in that he can finally sit down and be at the same level as other people, both physically and metaphorically."
