Honestly, Yama was pretty smart in using his super strong flames to trap Aizen rather than attempt to attack him. You never know when you might already be under Kyokasuigetsu, so using your energy to use a wide trap is best to cover any angles Aizen might try to move to. Cuz imagine using all of your energy on your strongest move only to realize that you attacked air or some shi instead 🥀
