Rangiku's injury is super censored in the anime - in the manga she has a full on semicircle punched out of her torso, Toji-style. When Ayon holds up its fingers after attacking her, in the manga it's literally holding the part of her body that it ripped out in between its finger and thumb. I'm also gonna point out that Ichigo has been using his bankai this entire time - he's had it active since his fight against Grimmjow. Though he hasn't pulled out the mask in this fight yet, so you're right that he's not at full power currently. I'm glad that we're finally back to Hueco Mundo and Ichigo vs Ulquiorra though! Much as I love all of the top 3 Espada fights and I'm looking forward to them, Ichigo vs Ulquiorra is probably the most hype fight of the entire arc.

Honestly Ichigo must be soooo exhausted with all these fights. He needs a good long break soon. I physically cannot wait for the Ulqiorra fight!!!
