Ammit (Patreon)

Was gonna post this yesterday but I forgot to plan out the descriptionX3 Apologies.

Here we have the Egyptian entity Ammit, a being who devours the hearts of mortals who are denied entry to the field of reeds by Osiris's scales and feather, a punishment worth than death itself, and also, mother to the current demon lord, Beck.

However, they have no deep connection to each other, as Beck had never truthfully met his mother until after he had gained possession of the Abyssal throne.

He was intentionally conceived (sadly not consensually) as an heir to his father, Arhkan, the previous Demon Lord, who wanted a "weapon" that had both capabilities of the parents, and could be left alone in the world to turn it barren.

After many millennia and several complicated encounters, including overthrowing his loathed father, Beck made an attempt to contact and connect with Ammit.

Heated words were exchanged, long hidden scars revealed, but eventually she came to the conclusion that while Beck may be the product of her trauma, the blame should not be put on him. The two continue to retain a bit of a distant yet active relationship, with Beck understanding that even though he is not at fault for what had happened, this connection is a blessing, one that is not owed to him, but gained.
