People kept asking how BIG Connie could grow and the answer was a BIT complex, depending on her age and where she was in her training at the time.

With her suppressed power, she could only reach about 15 feet (4.57 meters) tall without the help of 3rd party resources (Hyper Juice, growth serums, chemicals, etc). Later on, when her power was eventually unsealed after learning to suppress it as naturally as breathing, she can grow to unbelievable sizes in mere minutes, outclassing all her previous sizes she's ever been before.

The cause?

She loses focus for a short time. And with that, she grows miles upon miles in size, growing large enough to be as large as one of the smaller islands in Hawaii. And even then, she's nowhere near where she could potentially grow. So it's important that she focus on balancing her energy manipulation to prevent such catastrophes, such as the one you see here. Thankfully, she managed to stop it before it got too out of hand, although, this in itself can prove to be challenging in of itself.

Whenever she undergoes any level of growth, her body releases a high dose of Dopamine, causing her to find pleasure with each spurt she feels, which encourages her to get bigger and bigger without any level of pain during the process. Normally, growth spurts are painful for most people, but for Connie, it's a pleasurable experience. It's addictive and very difficult to overcome, especially when she needs to halt her own growth spurts. So it's a good thing she has a disciplined mind to overcome such feelings. Guess that's what happens when you spend years working on controlling this immense power locked within your very soul.
