What do YOU want? (Patreon)

So, now that I've been at this whole YouTube game for the last 8 months, and Patreon for the last four or so, I wanted to check in with everyone.  What is it that YOU would like to see going forward?  I want this to be as rewarding for you as it is for me.  So drop your wishlist in the comments below, or if you're nervous about posting publicly, feel free to slide into my DMs here.

When you say what do we want to see going forward... Do you mean like story ideas or content or something else???

All of the above! I feel like I'm still trying to figure out what keeps people coming back and what they would love to see going forward so they feel they're getting value from their support! I guess I'm still so new to all of this that the feedback is important for me to continue to improve and grow.

I would love a scenario where Nerd takes Xander to an anime convention and he's way out of his element and nerd has to protect him from the other nerds flirting with him. I love sweet scenarios where the main character is sweet and dom at the same time too. Teasing dom who isn't about degradation or embarrassing their partner but isn't afraid of making sure their partner understands who they belong to... Not sure if that makes sense or not. And fantasy stuff! I am huge into fantasy characters ^^ Sorry... Huge fantasy, anime hopeless romantic over here xD

Absolutely! Xander is near and dear to my heart. It's funny, when I first wrote him, it was a one-off, but I have come to love him so much I want to write a ton more of his content. Next month is gonna be a good one for you!!

Okay, first: Never apologize for loving and being passionate about something! These are all super great suggestions. The Nerd protecting Xander would be such a cool script flip. I love it so much. It's interesting, when I first started writing Xander I had it in my mind that he was gonna be your standard bully character, but as I've written him more and more, it's becoming clear that that's not who he is, and he's actually a scared, confused boy trapped inside a giant himbo body, who is learning who he is and what he likes when he interacts more and more with Nerd, who is self-assured, confident and proud. It's been such an interesting flip of the usual trope, so this would totally fit right in! Teasing Doms/Soft Doms are 100% my jam too. That's kind of how I see Daddy Bear, for example. I think the "toxic top/dom" is totally overdone, and honestly, there's a time and place for it, but I think there's also a lot to be explored with the Soft Dom, so I will definitely explore more of that. What you're saying totally makes sense to me. It's the sort of Sub/Dom relationship where the roles are clear, but that it's a two-way street. The sub belongs to the Dom, but the Dom loves and cares for the sub and sees his role as protector and nurturer, right? And yes yes yes to more fantasy, and sci-fi. I'm going to workshop a few more characters and hopefully come up with some new storylines. I really like the idea of writing multi-parters, instead of one-offs. So we can follow a character or a speaker/listener pair over several episodes, instead of just a one-and-done. AGH! So many idea and so many things I want to do, but I have to be careful about managing time. The Patreon is growing to the point where I can start considering stepping back from my day job a little bit and focus more on this creative work, but it's still SUPER early, and the base of supporters is still being established so I have to be cautious. But over the fall, I am going to spend even more time growing this side of things because this is where I can be the most creatively and connect more deeply with you and other supporters to bring these characters and stories to life. My turn to apologize... Wall of Text Crits you for 30 damage. LOL!

You totally get everything I was rambling about xD I'm excited to see what new stuff you create and bring to life. No matter what, I am a life supporter lol *Cough* shifters.... Hot shifters.... Breeding... Alphas being put in their place by the one they want to have as their partner.... Or... Alpha wolf shifter falling in love with a human who doesn't feel like going along with the normal wolf mating rituals makes the wolf calm down and do things a little more romantic and human... >.> I used to do roleplays online when I was younger so my imagination can get... Crazy lol Take time for yourself and take care of yourself. Tis most important. Maybe this should have all been a DM.... Woops! Lol

Haha, no this is all very helpful! I'm super into exploring all of these things! What I didn't realize when I started doing the VA work was how much I would also enjoy the creative writing side of things. But I'm not a writer at my core, so that's what's probably the limiting factor right now! But practice makes perfect, and coming up with compelling characters and stories will be something I need to do more work on. Thank you for all the great suggestions and for sharing. I really appreciate it.

Awesome, yeah, I definitely plan on keeping the emotional depth and interest in my characters. I think that's what brings me a lot of joy for sure!
