This is truly a great episode of the series, and it was pretty groundbreaking at the time because GMMTV series had not really gotten into the political question of same-sex marriage, which was illegal at the time. The scene where they are raising, and lowering the big rainbow flag has become an iconic one because of that, and whether or not it had real influence, it’s still true that now same-sex marriage is going to be possible in Thailand starting in January for the first time ever. We also get this continuation of the story with Yok and Dan (UNAR is his artistic pseudonym), who are played with two of GMMTV’s strongest actors, First and Gawin. They are a secondary couple with a very complex story, of which there’s a good deal more to come.

Love it! I thought they were drinking liquor there, not beer? it is a little water-downed looking but the big ice-cube sure makes it look like whiskey or bourbon or something. Anyway, fun video!

DanYok let's go!!

Yok is my favorite character and this show was the one that introduced me to the actor, First. But this show in general is SO amazing. It is great at keeping the audience guessing, because you never really know what to expect at each moment. Like the scene when Dan is "arresting" Yok. They are really good at the suspense building and reveals. Truly addicting.
