FINALLY!! Happy holidays ✨

This was originally the season finale, but then they got more episodes. Mercedes solo is one of the few songs sung live. Rachel’s solo is from the show Lea Michelle was starring in on Broadway recently. The choreography at the end mixed the choreography from previous performances throughout the season. I missed that for years too.

Yay! You finally made it to the end of Season 1A!!!! Season 1B is sooooo good - I believe it's peak Glee imo!

Alex one thing you need to remember is the show is producing singles and some albums, so they want their performers to perform to the best of their ability (in the relatively short recording time they get for episodes). But the show will often tell you one thing about the characters, that might not match how you feel about the actors performance. For example Finn is supposed to be the best male singer in the group. But the actor isn't the best male singer in the group. But we the audience are supposed to believe that. Amber Riley is an awesome singer (absolutely no doubt), and Mercedes is supposed to be at the least the 2nd best on the show. But if the show tells you she isn't best at this time or she doesn't think she is. Then that is what you are supposed to believe. Its quite common in musicals on tv or film to see examples of this. On Later seasons you might see groups perform that you think do much better then the glee club. But if they say the Glee club (or the reverse) did better, that is what you are supposed to believe.
