Eat Em' Up - August Progress Update (Patreon)

Hey guys! Here's this month's update!Mi has been building out more of the systems for the game to have the framework ready for when we start making the animations. - Created a custom 'bubble' shader for the Cheribrum, and developed a 'projectile' system to be used for attacks. The projectiles have effects on hit, and knockback.- Created moves that extend jump height, moves that suspend airtime, and timeout with supporting the same move.- Added data for things like knockback direction and strength for moves and projectiles.- Added the basis for grabbing. The game is going to feature unique kind of grabs. At low damage amounts players will be able to throw and inflict a bit of damage, but at higher damage amounts they will be able to perform a special move that will 'finish off' their opponent. Once we have more animations, expect a better demo of that system. - Added support for multiple players! This uses the Player Input system and supports a wide range of controllers. The goal is support up to 4 players and to have Bots (once the Cheribrum is flushed out far enough to start building an bot profile for it)The goal is for this to be fun to play on your own and with others! We'll be adding more species and characters later, once we have a solid framework down. Thank you for your support, and please look forward to the next update!
