HAIL & WELL MET!

Ivan here! Ed delegated this update to me since it has mostly to do with the operational side of things and he thought it would be more informative if we skipped the process of filtering it through him.

We have some exciting stuff happening and we are thrilled to give you a peek at the next few months.

NEW VIDEOS
This past weekend we wrapped up another video shoot, this time recording 22 new full-length videos, including 3 new EdTime Stories! I have included a screenshot of the list of scripts to help get folks as hype on the new content as we are! The video on this post is a little sneak peek video to this post to show our latest studio setup. **Our "studio" is straight up just my gutted home office and we often get the comment that it's "smaller than I thought." Please disregard the snack wrappers and myriad empty cans of sugar-free soda o.O

We also recorded almost an hour's worth of what Ed affectionately calls, "Ed's Doggerel," which are short poems (some humorous, some philosophical and insightful), which are intended to transport viewers into delightful little Realms vignettes for 10-30 seconds. We will likely be editing these down to serve as shorts across our various social networks, but we will also be doing a supercut of these fun little poems in chunks so we can provide them to you here early and without being "social-media-ified."

We are also now shooting all of our footage in stunning 4K! As we continue to make improvements to our production setup (which if I'm being honest is about as makeshift and slapped-together as you can get without literally being a webcam duct taped to a broom handle), we are proud to acknowledge that our footage quality and production value also continue to improve.

We also got Ed a brand new consumer mirrorless camera to use as his webcam so hopefully any remote shoots (Q&As, Interviews, etc.) will also notice an uptick in quality. On that same note, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of Ed's patrons. Without your direct support, we would not be able to deliver our best to you, and we certainly wouldn't be able to afford things like new tech to ensure that Ed is able to continue churning out Realmslore for all of us. Whereas a relatively inexpensive new camera might not seem like a big deal to everyone reading, it's one of many factors that contributes to us being able to put our best feet forward, raise awareness for Ed and his work, and optimize our ability to create engaging content for his most loyal fans. That's largely thanks to you all, so really, you rock and we love you.

CONVENTIONS
We're coming up on one of our favorite conventions of the year, Gamehole Con which runs from October 17th - October 20th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. This convention is put on by the wonderful Alex Kammer, with whom Ed has collaboratted several times including The Border Kingdoms: A Forgotten Realms Campaign Supplement and Thay Land Of The Red Wizards, both available on Dungeon Masters Guild.

Ed will be running live games, participating in actual plays, and sitting on several panels. I will also be there taking photos and filming panel footage, and we are both excited to see you all there. If you are an active patron, be sure to find us and request a special badge ribbon (limited supply).

COLLABORATIONS
We have some pretty exciting things coming down the pipeline for the next year. Ed had a really successful collaboration with our friends over at GooeyCube for their Gyzaengaxx Kickstarter, and they are working hard to put the finishing touches on Ed's adventure for the setting, "A Trouble With Rats." I won't spoint anything because it's quite hush-hush at the moment, but we have another big collaboration with GooeyCube on the way (which I'll also be personally involved in), and it's going to be even bigger and more expansive than the last one!

We are also investigating several writing gigs for Ed and will continue to look into any viable opportunity to get more of his wonderful creativity into the world!

GENERAL
This past year has been absolutely bonkers in terms of scheduling for both Ed and myself. He continues to work on Realms-related content every single day on top of his day job and the other commitments he's made. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes things fall through the cracks. We do our best to respond to everyone that reaches out with opportunities, requests, or inquiries, but as a 2-man team who still need to find time to work their 9-5s and (eventually) sleep, it's often impossible to tick every box on the to-do list. We appreciate everyone's patience and we hope that you still think we're doing a good job delivering on our promises.

We are also working on a few more merch items for Patrons exclusively as well as some new items for the shop, so keep a lookout for those as we piece together some of the ideas we've been discussing.

-----------

I think that's about it for now! I'm sure there will be some unanswered questions on here so please feel free to drop a comment and let us know if there's anything we could be doing better. If it's possible for us to accommodate then we'll certainly do our best!
