Content Update (Patreon)

Hail and well met, Patrons of the Realms!

We just wanted to send out a quick update to let folks know where we are with our content schedule and to give you an idea of some of the stuff that we're working on.

UPCOMING VIDEO CONTENT
Based on a recent poll, we've landed on crafting episodes on Netheril (history, and the rise and fall) and Beholders (facts, secrets, and notables) for this week's recording session. You can expect an episode on Candlekeep to release this Friday, where Ed reveals multiple secrets never before told about this bastion of knowledge in Faerun.

We will be releasing another poll in the next few days based on suggestions sent in the discord, DMs, and various comment sections.

LEGENDS Q&A
As some of you likely noticed, we just released the audio upload for the Legends of the Realms tier live Q&A #2. The video will also be released today, but we didn't want folks to have to wait for the render, upload, and processing which is somewhat lengthy since the video clocks in at over two and a half hours. In the meantime, you can listen to it on-the-go via your custom RSS feed or the audio post here on the Patreon.

Based on a separate poll we ran, we are going to be holding the next Legends of the Realms tier Q&A this Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at 7:00pm EDT (GMT-4:00). Legends can expect me to reach out both through the Patreon and directly via DMs and on Discord with more detail in the next day or so, so start getting your questions for Ed in order so we can make it the best meetup we can!

MERCH
A lot of the folks in the merch tiers (Champions of the Realms/Legends of the Realms) are about to receive their first merch shipment which is an exclusive "Ed Explains" signature series sticker. I'm going to be finalizing a design for the next merch release sometime in the coming week or so, and this time the swag is going to be even flashier. I'll keep you all apprised as the design is finalized and send out a post when it's ready to go live.

Those of you that haven't committed to joining the merch tier yet, this might be a good time to get in so you don't miss out on the next exclusive item! Patrons begin receiving merch after being in these tiers for 3 months, so act fast or you might miss the boat on some of these unique merch designs. They're unlikely to be released through the Patreon again, and they'll never be offered in their original form in our normal shop.

LIVESTREAMS
We don't have much of an update on this... yet. We're doubling down on our recording schedule currently to make sure that we have a healthy archive of content and can provide the absolute best Realmslore in the most reliable way possible. That being said, we're still planning on starting up our streams sometime in the near future, and are currently aiming for once per week. Once we sort out scheduling, patron benefits, assets, and formatting, we will let you all know what it will look like so you can hopefully find time to join us.

That's about all we have for right now. As always, we encourage folks to reach out and let us know how we're doing, and if there's anything that they'd like to see more of, whether that be topics for content or ways we can improve the experience for everyone.

Thanks so much for helping to grow this community, and we still maintain that this is one of the coolest collection of folks this side of the Prime Material Plane.

More soon!

Hugs,
Ed Greenwood
