Hail and well met!

This post is exactly what the title reads, a content request thread. We'd love to hear what you all have to say about the videos that you'd like to see made.

Please feel free to comment with topics that you want to see Ed explore. This can include locations, people, items, empires, his time in the industry, etc.

I also encourage everyone to keep up with this thread's comments and and to like the suggestions that get your engine going. For all intents and purposes, this will serve as a a means of telling us what the most popular topics are so we can  prioritize them.

Ed will be looking at this list regularly, so even if your suggestion isn't the most popular one, the things posted within will be influencing our decision-making processes for a while.

Thanks very much, and we're both looking forward to reading through the results!

Hugs,
Ivan

One of my favorite characters from Knight of Myth Drannor novels is Pennae, who was described by one reviewer as a "one-woman crime wave". Since those books we haven't seen her again. Could we find out what happened to her here on Patreon? Did she continue her adventures with the Knights, or strike out on her own? I hope her kleptomania didn't get the better of her!

Though Bane is the preeminent god of badness in the Realms, Bhaal is probably the most well-known thanks to the Baldur's Gate games. Most of the players of that game wouldn't know that Bhaal was originally a mortal adventurer. Who was he, and what was his story? What turned him onto the path of evil, or was it a road he always walked?

I have a suggestion: I recently stumbled across a bit of Edlore from a now-defunct website, and I know there was lost Edlore on another now-defunct website. If Ed still has any of that material, sharing it here on Patreon, where it would again have an audience, would be a good thing.

Who are noted practitioners of foodmancy? Have there ever been any dedicated "foodmancers", who only ever wanted to create magic food?

In the WotC sourcebook Dragons of Faerun there's a trio of metallic dragons listed as living in Cormyr: Aurus in Arabel, Ferrous Costello in Suzail, and Tarlacoal. We know from Elminster's Ecologies that Tarlacoal meddles for the cause of good. And if Aurus and Ferrous are in the city they must be in disguise. What are they up to these days?

I'm really enjoying the new short stories published on here. Please keep it up! Aside from more of that, I'd love to hear more about Sembian politics, especially what goes on in Selgaunt. What's happened to the Uskevrens in the century since we saw them last?

This is a bit of a laborious idea, but I would love to see a writeup or even video that goes into more depth on what Mulhorand and Unther would be like had TSR stuck to Ed's original vision instead of making them into Mesopotamia/Egypt analogues. The "portals to earth" element has always been my least favourite of all Faerûnian lore elements and I would love the chance to change the history of the Unther/Mulhorand of when I DM Realms campaigns to something more like what Ed intended originally. The bit in the Unther video was really intriguing and I would appreciate the chance to learn more about what the original vision was and how it could be converted to 5e, keeping things like Tymanther's appearance and that!

I would love to hear about Shekinester. To be honest, I am just as curious about the World Serpent, but I have built up too much lore in my own mind about his role in the cosmology, and am afraid to touch the subject. I know it is Ed’s perspective that we can do what we like with our Realms, but I would still feel compelled to change to match what he says. So Shekinester seems like a safer choice, and just as interesting.
