Hello everyone! hope you're doing well <3 I'm here with an early access video with no ads for you! I'm 100% sure when this will go live on youtube, but here it is for you lovely Patrons :)

I was really looking forward to making this video and talking about completing the lineup at long last. There's no doubt I will be making additions to it in the future, but having the 4 main kids in there was the most important step. I'm currently playing catch-up with my youtube schedule, but should be able to get things done quickly.

I will also have some bonus videos for you guys this month as promised ~ they may not have v/o but we shall see.

Rendering style is something I currently pay a lot of attention to because thats what I am at the moment working on, for my own art. And to me the rendering style between the old and the new one is like night and day almost. In my opinion the first one has that airbrushed smooth digital cartoony look wich is a bit more disney-ish maybe, and the second one has a much rougher more textured look, with more angular shapes as you said. And I agree, to me the second one fits way better into the whole theme of the comic, from what I have gathered from the little snippets of background information and the other art pieces that can be found on the yt channel. On a different note, the thing about screen resolution affecting the level of detail is something that I also noticed. For my own art I decided to work with fixed brush sizes for the line work and detailing stages, and a fixed canvas resolution or at least fixed vertical pixel count. I based it on the same line width to canvas size ratio that occurs when doing traditional art on a 6" by 8" or 6" by 12" piece of paper. It honestly helps me a lot with not getting bogged down by adding too much detail, finishing a piece, line economy, efficiency and clarity.

So I’m happy to learn that Haejin is the “main character”. She always had my favorite design and you did a great job of making her mysterious(this is one of the main reasons I have always been into her). I also just love the boys and can’t wait to see what their dynamic is with one another. I gather from past drawings that Haejin and Nolle get along so now I can’t wait to see what’s up between Sock and Fio. Sock probably gonna end up my fav cuz his persona just clicks with me plus I love his fashion sense. Fio too, as I’m a big fan of boys in skirts.
