Prologue Progress // update and conventions (Patreon)

Hi everyone!!! Another month flew by, and we're already in October! I cannot believe how quickly time goes by... but before I digress into the same ole lamentations, I have some good news :) I have been making some steady progress with finalizing the prologue clean sketches, and I wanted to share another little preview with you all. 

I desperately wanted to release the prologue on Halloween. How perfect would that have been?! Unfortunately it just isn't in the cards... I have two big trips coming up this month, one to New York for NYCC and another to LA/Pasadena for Light Box Expo, and between those trips and my current commitment to making 2 youtube videos per month, there's just no way I can physically complete the prologue in time. 

I think if I just had to do the art only, it would have been potentially possible, but since I have to do a lot of work with setting up the website, release plan, peppering teasers to build momentum, etc., not to mention getting a head start on chapter 1 so that the gap isn't gigantic between the prologue and actual beginning of the story, ahh... I decided to just be realistic about it. I will do the next best thing - announce the release date on Oct 31st, and it will be set in stone. 

Inbetween various tasks I have actually managed to squeeze a couple of inked drawings in the last several days! I'll scan those and share with you guys soon;

I've been really spread thin with work lately and ironically not making much money since I dropped my freelance work and have just been focused on shop prep and the comic, so Patreon has been a huge help during this transition period.
