THE STRANGE CIRCUS (Patreon)

There was something a little strange about this shoot from the very beginning.

Working with a dancer couple gave me the opportunity to create something that felt less like a traditional nude photoshoot and more like a portrait of two mysterious performers from an old circus.

The costumes, the gloves, the hat, the poses, and especially the way their bodies interact with each other all came together to create this slightly theatrical and surreal feeling.

I wasn't really interested in making the images simply about nudity. I wanted the two bodies to become part of the composition — almost like two performers on a small stage, caught somewhere between fashion, circus and fine art.

These are the full-quality artistic photographs, with the detail and resolution preserved so you can really appreciate the textures, lighting, expressions and small details that can easily disappear in a compressed version.
