Beyond Movement | An Exclusive 52MP Fine Art Collection (Patreon)

Some photographs are made to be shared immediately.
Others are made to stay with you for a while.

This is one of those projects.

I had the opportunity to work with an incredibly talented professional dancer and create a series based on movement, balance, body lines and contemporary dance.

For this particular setup, I wanted the body to become almost a sculptural element within the frame. The model performed a series of extremely complex poses on a simple white box, using her experience in modern dance to create shapes and movements that would be almost impossible to achieve through conventional posing.

I also applied oil to the body and added water droplets, which created another layer of texture and light across the skin. Combined with the clean white environment and the controlled poses, this gave the photographs a feeling that sits somewhere between dance, sculpture and fine art photography.

There are only three photographs in this release, and all three are being shared in their original 52-megapixel resolution.

And honestly, these are photographs I wasn't originally planning to release on Patreon.

My initial idea was to keep this series for a future fine art photography book or exhibition. But I decided to make these three images available exclusively to my PRIVATE ACCESS members as a small thank-you for supporting my work at this level.

I don't take the support of my $49 members for granted. It gives me the freedom to experiment with projects that are sometimes more personal, more ambitious, and not necessarily created with social media in mind.
