For this project, I wanted to explore what happens when the human body becomes a reflective surface — almost like a living sculpture covered in light.

I covered the model's body with glitter and used studio lighting to bring out the texture, reflections and contours of the body. The result was something very different from my usual studio work: a combination of the human form, texture, light and a little bit of experimentation.

Getting the glitter to cover the entire body evenly was definitely more difficult than I expected. I used hair gel as the adhesive base and then applied loose glitter over the skin. It wasn't perfect — but sometimes those imperfections are exactly what make an experiment interesting.

This is only the beginning of the project.
