ROTC is a high school program called Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Typically for kids who are planning to join the military. Fun fact: The group is now in Alexandria, Va, just outside D.C. However, no matter where they travel in this series, it’s all filmed in Georgia. Funner fact: The homes you see in “Alexandria” are real custom homes built by AMC in a real development called Gin Properties in Senoia, Ga. When I was in Senoia 3 years ago I walked down Main Street (the set of Woodberry in the show), and at the end of the road there’s a railroad track, bear to the right and you see the huge metal walls of Alexandria. No one was allowed in there at the time but I could see the tops of the Alexandria houses, the church steeple and water tower. Those walls have since been removed and the houses sold and refurbished so people now live in TWD houses. It’s all pretty cool for the residents of Senoia.
