John Dutton is not doing the manipulation to protect his family. He's destroying them with his machinations. He is doing it to protect his power and maintain control. I knew someone just like him, just on a smaller scale. Ruined his kids forever.

What's one more murder/coverup matter to Rip? The whole family plus the branded pit-dwellers have killed someone, except for Beth, as far as we know, even though she claims to have killed her mother.

His finger imprints will be on her neck. No competent coroner would rule that an accident. Of course, King John probably owns the new coroner. Rip already killed the old one, if I recall correctly.

It would be even harder to sell it as an accident if the sim card was taken out of her phone.

I don't know what the role of Walker was in this charade. They didn't need him to drive a vehicle. Rip and Jamie could've handled that. All they did was create an unnecessary witness. Oh, now I see. He's gonna frame Walker for the whole thing.

Once they get hooked on rodeo, they never get free. But it's nice Jimmy found something he's good at. That ought to help him out a lot. But they have to travel all over the continent to hope to make a living at it. And he has a previous life-time commitment as a branded pit-dweller.

Old John Satan has no problem with murder when it's the son he loves, or Rip. And Jamie tried to prevent Daddy from being an accessory. Well, he's an accessory now.

These are the most unhappy, joyless people ever. They cannot even manage to enjoy their hobbies. Gloomy, miserable people. What good does all the land and money and power do them?

it's the beauty of what you built and the beauty of where you built it. i'll NEVER live in a city again. sometimes it's good to have powerful people on your side. we didn't break any laws BUT that doesn't mean we didn't get influential people to help. go easy on the duttons. even though they are INSANE!!
