This was a good episode for us to see some of what Carl is feeling and Michonne. Rick realising that Carl has grown up, though that doesn't mean he isn't going to still look out for his son. It's also nice to see Carl letting go of blaming his father for everything bad that has happened to him. I think he was resentful towards his dad, whom he almost worshipped as a strong tough guy, for all the bad things and for not being able to protect everyone.
