I always struggle with the gain staging. Have you included in the template? If not, maybe a tutorial for the future?

I does and doesn’t apply. It all depends on the plugins you are using. As long as the levels are consistent through the plugins you generally should be fine. It’s a hurdle which is not a hurdle, when learning we over compensate. Gain staging was more for the analog world but having said that some plugins may require you to drive the signal hot to activate the desired effect. Usually the plugin company mention this. But again 99% of the time just avoid the plugins from jumping into the red. 👍🏻

I’ve been on a big Bryan Kearney hype recently. He plays a lot of nicely distorted trance/techno. I would love a tutorial on making similar tracks. His track hammer and mallet is a good example of the sound I’m on about but he plays loads of other artists with a similar sound in his sets. Anything distortion related would be sweet though but overall happy enough with the content as is tbh
