Didn’t know uk hardcore was an influence for you as a 90s teen I went through the happy hardcore scene in the 90s which evolved into 2000s uk hardcore which had a lot of trance influence. The scene always tends to follow the recent trends 90s early rave, 2000s trance even dubstep at one point through to now which has been heavily influenced by hardstyle and big room techno but with it’s own variations the obvious being the tempo

I must add Darren styles who was there from early on in the 90s and still going strong now is a perfect example of moving with the times and different sounds but still have the sounds and styles in his music that influenced him

Oh yeah happy hardcore, hard dance they all played a big part of my evolution. Hard core hooks are always short and to the point. My influence came more from the disc 2’s of the Bonkers series such as Cube::Hard, Kevin Energy to name a few.😎

Ah bonkers, the memories 🤪
