Thank you Demis me being a overthinker due to so many ways to do things when it comes to techniques seeing this video I feel confident now. This settled my mind seeing how to properly do this and what to pay attention to when it comes to subs such as the phase aspect dealing with harmonics etc and also having a actual sub sound mixed in with a saw when I was under the impression and was taught choosing just a saw was the way to do it so low end was more controlled. All your tips resonated with me on how to make a perfect sub bass as stated in the title so now I know and what to look out for if tweaking presets and how to do it to my liking and make it better to fit my track also creating my own. Thanks again for this ultimate tutorial on how to make a true proffesional sub bass I appreciate you 💯💪🏽

Thank you for detailed explanation of subs, your extras are extremely useful too. I have a problem in my track - it is D#min and the sub is too low, if I shift it up the octave it's more like a rolling mid. Idk what to do, I like my lead melody sounding exact at this tone(

That is a classic problem, I would try starting with adding harmonics using a saturator to give in more range. If you a lot of trance tracks they are not going for the super deep bass they embrace the tone of the sub. However on your preset put the midi in the position that sound too high, add a saw wave on spare oscillator. Then transpose that down so it hits the D# that is too low and turn down the level until is blends nicely and that should give you a deeper tone but controlled.

No problem at all, musicians fear the low end too much due to a lot of stigma especially from video shouting "don't do this" for example. If it feels good and sounds good then usually this means its good 👍🏻 If its too boomy low shelf the lows a bit. 😎

Yes sir thanks again Demis appreciate you 🫡
