Hello everyone.As we get close to the end of the year I'd had this idea bouncing around in my head for a Host audio, because with Titans disappearance I can't imagine he's been the first or last Incubus to go missing, so what happens when and Incubus doesn't show up for long enough?And what is it about Host that has him command such respect? As fun and as hot as the sexy stuff is... I just love the little character interactions! The implications! God it's so sweet, and interesting. How quick Titan was to tell Host things were handled and he didn't need to look too deeply into where titan had been, how much Host cares about the others even if he can come off a little harsh at times, and just that "good to have you back" at the end, it's so *chefs kiss* Not sure if you've got more treats planned for us before the new year, much less more of the incubus boys, but I'll be eagerly looking forward to whatever it is you've got in store for us. ;3 While the incubus club will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the series that introduced me to you and your work, and the fact that I love the characters, *and the audios tbh I revisit some of them frequently*, I do really just love your work and all the care you put into it. My personal favorite is Shapeshifter (Calypso) and Medsuo! (Poor Calypso, he deserves a break and raise fr). It’s clever, self-aware, and just cheeky enough to feel intentional rather than accidental. What really elevates this piece is how effortlessly entertaining it is. Host’s tone, his confidence, his assumptions — all of it works together to create an experience that feels playful, dangerous, and amusing in equal measure. I was smiling through most of it, fully aware that this character might be far more vulnerable to his own arrogance than he realizes. Unbelievably entertaining from beginning to end. And his demon voice? Man … istg … 🫦 it hits deep! And I’ll say this: in my personal ranking, Host is becoming dangerously competitive with Calypso.
