The beginner textbook Athenaze is most famous from it's semi-Ørbergized Italian incarnation, but the original UK version (available on Amazon at this link) confers many benefits on the student, especially when used in conjunction with the version from Italy.

I use the Lucian Pronunciation of Ancient Greek, and you can learn about it in this video, or by reading this Ancient Greek Pronunciation Guide I wrote, which also compares the various pronunciation systems.

Hi Luke, I've noticed recently a lot of these files are downloading named 1.mp4 and I need to rename them manually. It's obviously not a big deal but thought you might like to know.

I’ve heard of this problem recently! All of the files are named correctly upon upload. It must be a weird Patreon thing. Above does it say the file that you can click on to download is "Athenaze UK 07b Ο ΚΥΚΛΟΨ.m4a" ? That's what it shows on my version of the webpage.

The name of the file in the post displays correctly, but it downloads as 1.m4a. It's not a problem when downloading just one file (it's a quick ctrl+c/ctrl+v to rename) but for people downloading the whole series at once it might be annoying.

I agree! I don’t have a remedy, I fear. When the series is complete I can make a zip file.
