Coptic Lesson 1 | The Gateway to Ancient Egyptian! (Patreon)

Coptic Lessons Index

Welcome to my new series for Patrons: introductory Coptic lessons! As I begin to learn Coptic, I want to share what I'm studying. Eventually, more polished videos that teach Coptic (Comprehensible Coptic) and Middle Egyptian (Ancient Egyptian in Action) will be published on ScorpioMartianus. But until that uncertain date, I want to give my Patrons the chance to start learning!

Topics covered in Lesson 1:

• Alphabet & Pronunciations

• Salutations

• Origin and Etymology of Coptic

• Why learn Coptic?
