I'm still not feeling good, this is effecting my work in a real bad way and I think it's time for me to talk to you all about what's really bothering me right now.

I'm making too much money to call it a hobby and need to register my game for some kind of company. Now I don't think I want to make a business out of this with my name tied to it. I'm more looking at this from an artist perspective and want to keep being anonymous. I want to write these weird sex scenes and keep making sex games but I don't want it to be viewed as a business then it probably needs to be changed and a game like this can't be released.

No I don't want to quit doing what I do. But I need a solution to my problem. I want to pay my taxes with some kind of company but without having my name tied to the game. I think I need to talk to someone who knows the topic well, like someone who work in my country's tax office. During these three years as an adult game developer I have payed my taxes as a hobby artist but can no longer do that it seems.

Now to the good part or well the little I managed to add to the game. I have written all bimbo orgasms vaginal, anal and on the edge, which you can see in the changelog below.

Focus next week will be to get this tax issue fixed and I will not work on the game before I have a solution and can tell you all about it.

Cheers for another week and many more to come!

Yours truly WhiteRaven.

You could talk to legal aid if you’re worried about privacy issues. Personally I wouldn’t be too worried about starting a company. You can own a company and have nothing to do with what the company produces. There is nothing to be ashamed of, plenty of people make an income from the adult industry and you are providing a service that people clearly want. Many artists are required to register as a business when their work becomes successful, as much as you may not like it, it may be the only solution. It seems like the important thing to you is to remain anonymous. Speak to a few people, make phone calls, try to find a solution you are comfortable with.

Masterdruid

talk to lawyer in your country and ask about copyright laws and incorporation. to protect property, as for taxes lawyer up too.. different tax rates for different countries. Doing internet

Chris

Not sure how it is in your country. But us Americans move to the Cayman Islands when we want to avoid taxes.

Disc Jockey

Pretty sure most of the Adult industry don't put their real names on their products, I mean the camera operator on a porn movie wasn't really called Ben Dover. :)

Thomas Lexcellent

Sadly i’m a law student but in france :/ can’t help u with that... good luck anyway, hope you’ll find a solution for this :)

Disc Jockey

Looking around on the Internet to incorporate a company anonymously would either costs quite a bit of money (to pay for offshore filing, accounting and banking) or be extremely risky in regards to fraud since someone else would have to be the face of the company. Not sure why you need this unless you want to aquire an office and have full time staff.

donserdal

Just become part of a other adult company and have them process your taxes etc

WhiteRaven

Thank you. I really need to look around and get this thing dealt with. I have no experience when it comes to starting or owning a business so I feel really lost. I just don't want to make and mistakes when it comes to paying my tax.

WhiteRaven

It seems like that's the only way to get information, I mean I should not think that all of a sudden it will strike me how I should deal with the problem. I just felt like I needed to share this with you all and afterwards it did feel better, like a relief.

WhiteRaven

I don't think that's the solution for me sadly, it does sound easy... almost too easy.

WhiteRaven

Or Jack Meoff, Dixie Normous, Sue Yoo and last, my favorite Phuc Kieu.

WhiteRaven

Yeah I've thought about that as well, would like it if Patreon could be my creative business and I could be their employee but that doesn't work right now. I want it because I want to pay my taxes and I want to do it correctly. Right now I can no longer pay my taxes as a hobby artist. It might sound strange coming from someone like me but I want to contribute.

WhiteRaven

Thanks for the suggestion, I've thought about that but I don't know if that's something I'd want with how big the risk might be. I mean they could just screw me over totally.

WhiteRaven

I've talked to some fellow content creators though the problem is most of my friends that I made at patrecon is Americans so they don't really have the same situation like me. When we talked about it they didn't really understand my situation it seemed. Might be because I didn't explain it good enough or that my country is just very harsh when it comes to declaring income and taxes.

william wofford

You will probably need to contact an attorney to consult on how best to proceed I know in the US you are protected by Attorney Client privilege .....for seeking such advise but since i do not know what country that you are in i have no way to know if it applies there .....

william wofford

yes i would not trust that route . i would consult a lawyer first

donserdal

If you get shares or a part of the company. they cant do it that easily :)
