Which lightning do you prefer in these animations?

Light A

Light B

Domina

B seems too bright like there is a spot light along with an ambient light source on the scene for an outside shot.

WhiteRaven

It is not a spot light, it is a distant light that's just colder and tiny bit blue. This makes her skin look less plastic and more realistic in my eyes. The only problem is the shadows being too dark.

Domina

B looks like there are two lights...no...FOUR lights...er...anyway two...I agree with the shading which is why it feels like a spot light. Ultimately I think it depends on what you find more pleasing.

WhiteRaven

It is just one distant light tho it looks like there are more maybe. I'm rendering another set, one with two lights that makes the shadows look more realistic and I think personally I like that one the most.

Bohauo

I like A more but i would like to have "not as sharp" shadows from B in to A

Xeon_1

seems like 1 is shot during high sun and the other near sunset.

Domina

As long as there isn't four and you insist there are five... :P

MorningWight

Shadows are nice to have, but softer shadows are so much better.

WhiteRaven

Yes, the strong shadow is making B look a little weird.

Murlockus

It's really nice, I like the middle ground between A and B especially for the shadows, I was more on the B shadow than the A but the C looks great !

Bohauo

I really love C, so i vote for C... ;-)

Xeon_1

C looks good
