they're left thinking they're fighting for their lives maybe a failure in communication but understandable

Lord Chaos

Kitty got some back up.

I feel like I'm missing something. I know the cats just got their plane shot down and saved by apparently the strongest Prime in the world, but the cats suddenly attacking Sammy like this feels kinda unprovoked.

Ligerdude18

These two are freaked out. First their plane gets wrecked by two impatient and reckless acolytes, one who punched a boulder into the wing of their plane. While Minos saved them, the Knighthood lifestyle is exposed, with Miles and Rachel noticing Minos unbelievable strength. Now they get told that they have to pay a price for something that is not their fault. Minos's comment also did not help things, which put Miles and Rachel on edge. If there's one thing I know about misunderstandings, is that being told you have to pay a price for something you didn't even know existed until now and having to "disappear" from society because of it, would have someone extremely concerned and fight to get out of that situation.

Uh oh!! That Cat got a GAT!!

I'm getting miles-is-going-to-get-punched-in-the-gut-again vibes

War-Bird

that escalated quickly

Personal history has shown that the fight or flight response has always been strong in those cats. In this case it may be both at the same time.
