Gonna start doing this for my own health, we'll see how long I go for. It feels good to discuss things at length with no expectation of a reply. Screaming into the void, although usually, my voice is too hoarse for that sort of thing, so I'll probably just speak into the void. Imagine you're having a fireside chat with, well, not a friend, but someone you want to listen to. Provided you've come this far, you are at least a little intrigued.

I usually do not think or stress too hard about performance, because to do so would devalue myself greatly. You may think it is a little silly to value my work in the way I do, and perhaps you're right, but I do believe there is a thing that separates me from people who do this to simply get off. People who don't know what the concept of getting laid is. People who don't really care.

I see the scene around me over time devolve into very unappealing work. Imperfections that are glaring, not charming. Not "real". It upsets me, but I suppose with mass adoption and accessibility, it comes with the territory. Of course, there is also AI. Lots and lots of genAI. I have seen people I used to respect get burnt out, and use generative artificial intelligence as the remedy. It is a poison. It rots your liver from the inside, until you're a collapsing husk of flesh, devoid of any humanity. It is a great sadness.

As the AI bubble continues to co-exist with actual effort, good or bad efforts, everything looks a bit bleak right now, but I wouldn't trade this for anything else.

I love intimacy, realness, I try and capture that in most of the work I do. Clearly people respond to that very well, considering the performance of the Nico, Lady and Trish thing I did. If my preference is less desired by people nowadays, then that is too bad, but I don't think it is. Otherwise, I'd be out of business - and probably dead.
