I hope you do continue, but understand if you don't. Yep, Owen screwed up. Honestly, without hesitation Jack would have sacrificed him and Tosh rather than allowing the rift to open and risking everyone, which just adds to how much Owen screwed up. Owen is such a dick yelling at the doctor, and Jack, when everything is his fault. Honestly, i think Jack was completely fair when he fired Owen, I think Gwen still can't see what Jack already knows. Poor Rhys, he really gets the short end of the stick, drugged, locked up.... dead. Yeah, it was amazing acting. Yep, everything Jack said was true. Owen doesn't know that Jack can't be killed. I assume they didn't need the eye things before because they didn't fully open the rift.. or it's just TV being TV. Oh Ianto.... smelling Jack's coat got me. Spark of life would be my guess about why Gwen's kiss helped, but again... tv gotta tv. "The right kind of doctor"..... Love that.

Hi Shan just James. Patreon member… yes we know who you are. I remember watching this episode when it aired on January 1st 2007, wet fart springs to mind and I say that as a fan, the giant cgi monster (early 2000’s yikes) and Jack spitting facts about his team who turn around and shoot him, and don’t forget the ending without a Doctor or lil blue box in sight, over the years I’ve come to appreciate it more for what it is and because it’s still better than anything we have today. If you choose not to continue your Who journey I won’t hold it against but you’ll never know why I make the just James Patreon member yes we know who you are joke. I leave it in your capable hands. A giant monster attacking a city, easy answer call Godzilla or if he's not available just get the Power Rangers with their Megazords or why not the robots from Pacific Rim? I do hope you continue with Whoverse but if you don't I will understand, you gave it a shot and it didn't work that's fine. But if you do decide to continue you will be in for a BIG surprise when you see who shows up in Torchwood Season 2. Won't say who but you are going to love it.
