Pretty sure coronavirus is just a type or class of virus rather than referring to Covid-19 specifically, so it does make sense for them to talk about it. I also feel like he asked Derek to be his best man… or at least hinted at it. I’m doubting myself now though. Maybe that’s a continuity error or maybe we just have collective amnesia. It’s always funny when all these doctors come out of nowhere for things like this intern exam. Like where were all these people when one of the millions of emergencies happened. I love how Bailey is the only one that’s consistently shown to be able to put Derek, Burke and Mark in their places. I get it though I’d be terrified of her too. Poor Addison. All these pregnant people haunting her and then all collapsing. I think this was a good penultimate episode. Builds nicely to the finale!

Correct. The "19" in Covid-19 refers to the year (2019) this strain of novel coronavirus was first discovered. The first strain of human coronavirus was discovered in 1965.

Hello Chyler Leigh. Please save us from all of these horrible Izzie and George scenes. Izzie and George are two characters whom I love at times, but then hate at others. I hate both of them right now. This episode had a ton of setup for the season finale. I'm looking forward to that.

You're right Callie is the perfect woman . Oh poor Addie I think banning Mer from the Funeral was too far. Oh Poor Mer, but Christina's comment of her and Meredith not failing always amuses me. Yep, Addie would definitely be thinking everyone but her. Izzy is acting a bit clueless

When they were quizzing in the kitchen, Karev asked “What is the most frequent cause of diarrhea in hospital patients?” Cristina’s answer was “Rotavirus” not "Coronavirus". Not the same thing. Having said that, Coronavirus is not new. Doctors have been studying it since 1960. Although it has likely been infecting humans for centuries. There have been deadly outbreaks repeatedly, so much so that they started giving the different strains names, MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV, Coronavirus 19, etc. I said same thing Shan, when Meredith's dad said his wife was “All I had.” Dude, your daughter is right behind you. Plus she said the other daughter was in the car. The other interns taking the exam were most likely interns from other departments in the hospital other than surgical. That’s why we never see them. Holy crap, that is Alex from Supergirl. You and your memory for faces. She looks so young here I didn't recognize her. But once you said it I saw it immediately.
