Some notes on Season 2. Sorry I haven’t been commenting. I fell way behind on FTWD and only now binged the whole season 2 after you finished Walking Dead Season 7. The way Chris acted reminded a lot of Season 2 Shane (without being the badass Shane was). Cold blooded, willing to kill anyone and disregarding friends. Both Travis and Madison having a son that just walks away in same episode. Both sons disillusioned with parent. Both fall in with bad people because they want to believe in something to justify what’s going in the world. It's rough that neither one of them were blessed with a Coral like Rick has. A badass son that always has his mom and dad’s back. Chris finds the belief that this new world is better because they don’t have to follow rules of morality and he can kill anyone he feels is a danger to him. This makes him feel safe in way he never felt even before the Zombie Apocalypse. Nick becomes fascinated with these religious beliefs of people create around the zombies. Thomas’s caretaker Celia maternally seduces him into her belief that the walkers are not really dead but are somewhere in between and should be cared for until the Holy Rapture in completed and they return to normal. He then meets Alejandro, who introduces Nick to a different form of religious zombie view. The zombies are a test by God to weed out those who are not true believers. And as long as they stay true to their faith they will not only survive but pass threw into a golden time afterwards. IN both cases while Nick wants to believe he never completely falls inline. His years surviving living on the streets gives him a self-preservation instinct that prevents him from letting himself become too vulnerable. In season 1 Alicia bothered the crap out of me but she is seeming a lot better in this season. Strand is kewl, never quite sure if I trust him, but the character is kewl none-the-less. Colman Domingo, who plays Strand, was once an aerial performer in a traveling circus, and went to high school with Will Smith. While I knew it when I watched Agents of Shield, while rewatching Season 1 with you I forgot until season 2 that actor playing Chris played Robbie Reyes little brother. You would think he would be used to being around skeletons, being Ghost Riders little brother. lol

Someone needs to tell Ofelia that the claw end of a hemmer is not a good zombie weapon. It keeps getting stuck in their heads. She needs something that slides in and out easier. That is a border wall between US and Mexico but not the one Trump was trying to build. There has been a wall at the southern US border for decades, but it only covers about 25% of the border. Trump has added about 2% new wall where none existed before. Yes, that was a Rick move when Travis beat those 2 guys to death. Yes Madison and Travis are married. The guys that invaded the compound turned before Alejandro because they were killed by the Walkers, Alejandro was still alive.
