OK, wow. What a reaction, chef's kiss. This episode had so much bloody tension lol. Crazy. I never saw Glenn coming when first watching this, thought one and done you know. It was a shock, and it was great. I for one would love to see a let's play on shan the channel erm channel of 7 dies to die, it's a lotta fun. Ok, so excited for the rest of this season's reactions, until then ta ta.

I think a lot of people did what you did and had to see what all the fuss was about and watched the episode/scene. Everyone was talking about it. The biggest thing that people were talking about before the episode was, who was it going to be. Those that follow comics figured it was going to be Glenn, because that's how it happens. The surprise was Abraham. But when you're watching, you're like ok, maybe they'll actually spare Glenn but then... What made me and probably a lot of other people mad too was the fact that they had a fake out with Glenn earlier in the season, only for this to happen. He was a bright spot among the characters and represented hope, with him and Maggie, especially with the baby on the way. Well now you made it to this point. You finally get what everyone felt watching this. It is a shocking episode to say the least. But all we can do is see what happens next.

A couple thoughts about this episode. Negan absolutely had to do this to our group. He rules through fear. His rule when the saviors meet a group is kill 1 person to make everybody afraid enough no to rebel and fight back. He rarely meets the groups face to face. He lets his trusted henchmen do it for him. Our group is the first he has come across who can be considered a true adversary. He needed to show up in person and get his point across. Kill 1 and it should be all roses right? I think he chose Abe because he seemed like one of the biggest threats. He needed his people to know he can take out the big guys who could harm the group. Our group not only defended themselves from the saviors but then attacked them back and then defended themselves again. They killed 30+ saviors. Negans only options at that point were to break them or kill them all. He recognized the skill and even has enough respect to try the option of keeping them alive. After Daryl punched him he needed to prove that there will be consequences. He then killed Glenn because he was the first to step out of line when Negan gave the warning. He then needed to break Rick in order to get his crew in line. He needed them and the saviors to see it to stay in control. The are a few moments where you can see Negans expression thinking "I didn't break you yet?". When Rick says "I'm gonna kill you", after they get back from the little road trip, and when he says "you're still looking at me the same way". The whole time Rick had a look of defiance. I personally think this was also Negans biggest mistake. He had to break Rick but in doing so he also left the possibility of Rick and the group coming back stronger because theyd have nothing to lose if he kept stepping on them.

Hi this is my first time leaving a comment, firstly I just want to say I love your reactions, I felt this was a very strong episode not only for the impact that Negan had with his introduction, but also I am a big fan of call backs and the episode title I think is a call back to dr Jenner in the first season, when Rick says he is grateful and Jenner replies with the day will come when you won’t be, I love things like that, I look forward to seeing more of your reactions 😁😁

This was the episode where Rick and his group really got humbled, Negan made Rick his bitch right in front of his son, and the rest of his people.
