We really like you to Shannan. Take that MikeAwesome. side note just for fun. On Toby’s comment about 2x19 and the color of hydroponics explosion. What color is the sun that Earth orbits? … Yellow?... No. It’s white. It looks yellow to us because the nitrogen/oxygen in our atmosphere scatters the shorter wavelengths, blue and violet (that’s why the sky looks blue). The remaining longer wave lengths, yellow and red, reach our eyes. So, the sky looks blue and the sun looks yellow. If there was a lot of particles in the atmosphere, say from a massive explosion, the color of the area could and likely would turn yellow from carbon from the dirt being lifted into the escaping air. Plus, the content of the soil when incinerated will definitely burn according to its composition. So, the sun light and fire in the hydroponics bay when it decompressed could have appeared yellow instead of blue. I thought of the fact Park could see if she used the stones as soon as she was told she was permanently blind. Was a good finale, I like how Eli ends up the guy that puts his life on the line in the end. Great growth for him to go from silly gamer nerd to the genius scientist that out sines even Rush. And he is brave enough to very possibly sacrifice his life for the others knowing his has the best chance of solving the problem.

I think the reason for the conflicted feelings about Chloe rejecting Eli is because we see things more from Eli's perspective. We see how he feels about her and how he cares about her early on, and we don't see much of that between Chloe and Lt Scott. For the most part, their relationship is off-screen until much later. So while we may intellectually know Chloe has no obligation to reciprocate Eli's romantic feelings, we're just seeing his pain and not really given an opportunity to connect emotionally with her perspective.

Meant to post this on the last vid to be read, but just wanted to thank you again for doing Stargate reactions. You're the first I know of to do the entire franchise. I've been here on Patreon mostly for Buffyverse, Arrowverse and now Stargate. I'm so glad you've started the Walking Dead verse as well. For now though, my immense thanks for covering this. ... Oh, and I thank you for at least ATTEMPTING Star Trek, lol.

She also hooks up with Scott waaaaaay too fast ..If not in the pilot itself then in the very first few episodes of Season 1 ..It kind of gives off a disgusting view on women given they've been on Destiny for no more than a few days.. They don't even know eachother and she hops into bed with the guy ..Plus ofcourse the same can be said for Scott for basically taking advantage of a girl who just lost her dad ....Their whole relationship was just ..UGH.

so, I did a little bit of digging around about the new upcoming Stargate series, and here's what I discovered ... from Sci-trek and his other channel... The show has not been cancelled. It was blocked from proceeding further in it's tracks a little while back by Jennifer Salke (the woman responsible for the atrocities of The Wheel of Time and The Rings of Power ...and the woman who turned down a Conan TV series because it was too "toxic male"). Why did Jennifer Salke block it? Well, from the people that worked there and from her bosses who told her to greenlight it (and she refused), she blocked it because the show did NOT have any female writers or producers or directors! Yes... it was as simple as that. She was greenlighting projects that had female writer/producers/directors and blocking ALL projects that did not. Having heard some of the things she's said herself, this is completely believeable! But she was fired like 6 months back... so hopefully we can get back on track! But I still don't know where they are currently at

Any information provided by Sci-Trek I'm taking as made-up or accidentally gotten right at this point. That guy has been wrong so many times now that anything he says just doesn't sound believable anymore. But feel free to believe what you want to believe. If it helps keep hope alive.
