The Meredith Derek stuff is so just... weird. Feels like we reset their relationship every episode. Doesn’t feel like the most amazing idea for derek to build a house in the middle of nowhere when he’s supposed to be a top neurosurgeon at a busy hospital when he’s going to be on call. Damn I'm so shocked that completely emotionally stable George didn't have a conversation with his family about the fact that he got divorced. This is completely unexpected and out of character for him. Oh well, here comes Izzie to correct this obvious lapse in memory from George. How thoughtful of her. Only Lexie would eat eggs that she's allergic to so she wouldn't offend Meredith. I think Cristina is kinda right, not about the "this is why you don't have kids" part, but about how they have to treat this as any other case. There's a reason why people can't be doctors for their own family. Being too attached makes them try too hard, rush, make mistakes etc. Really nice moment with Cristina holding Tucker's hand. Love that she offered to hold his hand and offered Lexie up to hold the thing Cristina was already holding. Doesn't make a ton of sense, but means so much coming from Cristina. It makes me happy that Callie got that closure with George's mum. It's closure she should have got from George, but honestly it was a much nicer scene with these two... Some incredible scenes between Bailey and Derek recently. Lots of talk about "faith" this week, which I usually hate, but I thought it was ok here. Except the faith healer lady, I can't with that part. So again we have a big fight with Meredith and Derek. Just for a change. In the scene after where they were standing looking through the window at Bailey and had that glance at each other I fully expected the next scene to be them banging in an on call room. Yeah Bailey's husband is an asshole here. Enjoyed that we had Bailey doing the voiceover for this one. Nice change from it being Meredith.

Wow, Cristina forgoing participation in a surgery to emotionally help Bailey. That was awesome. Since Torrez and George didn’t marry in a Catholic ceremony by a catholic priest, that would not recognize the marriage as valid and therefore would have not issue with a divorce. Yeah, people here are not good at keeping their mouths shut, I still remember Derek blurting out about the Burke/Cristina proposal. People, shut up.

I always enjoyed this episode, because you're starting to see more friendships than just the ones Meredith has but ones others have that have nothing to do with her like Derek and Bailey, and Callie, Hahn and Mark.
