Hey Shan brown lightning here. This episode should have been called nice to meet you. Lucius Fox meets Selina Kyle and Edward Nygma, Silver St. Cloud meets Jim Gordon, Harvey Bullock and Oswald Cobblepot, Alfred Pennyworth meets Edward Nygma and Bruce Wayne meets Oswald Cobblepot. Speaking of Bruce Wayne he says that his favorite animals are owls, a nod to the Court of Owls from the comics. Bruce is usually a surname it has origins in Normandy France and became popularised by the Scottish King Robert the Bruce, there are rare instances of females being named Bruce or Bryce but there is no female equivalent of the name. Question. If Bruce Wayne is born a female, the backstory remains the same, parents killed in front of them, does this affect the story? Join us next week same Bat-time Same Bat-channel where Shan and her 5 screens will be. Are we sure you are not The Batman/woman

I love that we got to see so many characters meeting each other this episode I had a blast seeing Luicis again and then Penguin and Edward are a riot together. Selina helping out Gordon and Penguin then we got the whole crew working together. Im excited to see Ed develop more into Riddler. Idk if you've played the Arkham games but the Order of Saint Dumas has to do with Azreal who is another DC hero vigilante with mystical type armour, the whole order is similar to the League of assasins or Court of owls. I like getting everyone's perspective from different angles like just Silver and Bruce in the prison talking was great, Bruce mentioning his fav animal is owls is a knod to Court of Owls and maybe Owlman from Earth 2 ? We got a Mr Freeze sighting and Hugo strange mention and whatever strange is doing with those dead bodies I bet to God we'll see Jerome again I'm hyped. I appreciate how Gotham like daredevil and even Batman year one shows the city is so bad it corrupts everything and everyone, obvi cops kill in self defense but Gordon killed galavant as a personal thing he kidnapped him with penguin and shot him. Even just working with Penguin Gordon shouldn't have done that despite Penguin saving him some times, then you got Edward with his mental break and being friends with Penguin. I just love how Gotham shows the people as people, were messy, confused and often make mistakes that are costly, that's the point Gotham is showing and even when Batman does show up it only gets worse but Bruce holds to his convictions unlike everyone else. Batman not killing people is fine but that's not the point difference between him and Gordon, at the end of the day he's holding onto his convictions where as Gordon has not been by working with known criminals, killing Galavant in personal revenge , kidnapping him and going against laws that cops shouldn't break like how Harvey was in S1, Gordon is doing it more now.
