That girl that says she is really cement dude friend but is pretending she’s not so those fucking buttheads will like her. Girl is Lame. Alex… I get it, he’s in this protecting mode for Rebecca so he’s feeling defensive but dropping the B-bomb on Izzy then saying he would hit her later when she calls for the psych consult. She is trying to help and his actions are uncalled for. Wow, Sloan forcing Callie to face her feelings for Hahn. So that’s why he kept droning on about Hahn and Callie kissing during their sex, so he could see if that’s what her turn-on was. They had a couple of slight parallels in these story lines. Meredith’s story about her mother’s suicide and then Rebecca’s suicide, in both cases Meredith has to clean up the blood. Then there is the girl hiding her feelings, even from herself for cement-dude and Callie hiding the fact, including to herself, that she has feelings for Hahn. They are not strong parallels but still there. The final scene wasn’t originally a green screen. The candles are real the set was in a national park. But it wasn’t anywhere near Seattle so the green screened Seattle in the background, hence the green-screen-hair. A decent season, not on my top Grey Anatomy Season list, but still good. Looking forward to more Grey-verse.

Alex is being very irresponsible with Rebecca and telling them that it was an accident etc. I can’t work out how old this patient with the trial is. She looks over 18 to me, but they seem to be putting a lot of the responsibility on her parents to make the decision for if she’s having the surgery. Maybe it’s just a case of she wants them to be ok with it, but it felt to me like it was framed as needing their permission. That’s an unfortunate freudian slip from Derek to say “fail her” when talking about the trial to Rose. Very Traumatic for Meredith to have to clean up the blood after she’s been talking about when her mother did the same thing. I’m pretty sure it’s the same house too, because this is the house Meredith grew up in. It makes a lot of sense for Izzie to take over the clinic I feel like. Not only is it Denny’s name on the door, it just feels like that’s an environment where she’d do well. I’m impressed with how quickly you clocked Erica being queer coded. Her first line when she joined the show permanently was to Cristina when she said “I date men” (as a way to say Cristina was sleeping with her boss before and it won’t work on her) - a throwaway line at the time but when watching again here with you it made me double take, knowing what was coming for her character. Derek should definitely have broken up with Rose before kissing Meredith there. He said he needs to break up with her so he can do “More than just kissing”. I find it a bit weird and a definite red flag where his line seemingly is…
