Heyy what’s up guys jam master Jay back again with the last of this Children of Earth shit. Originally, the final shot of the episode was to have been of a computer screen reading "TORCHWOOD STATUS: TERMINATED," but that was a bit too final you see, can’t have a revival if your audience thinks your series has been cancelled by the BBC. As it turned out, Children of Earth would prove to be the finale of the show's original incarnation, but the series continued as a British-American co-production starting in 2011. So if it looks a little different, a bit more stylised and less inherently British that’ll be why. Whoever wrote this episode doesn’t have any kids or doesn’t understand the innocence they represent or the joy they can bring to someone’s life, or maybe he does and in that case I can only ask what the fuck is wrong with you? What compelled you to make this story? This shit made me so mad. Doctor who will never reference the events of this 5 parter going forward. Null point! 3 bombs. Kids = drugs get fuct show.

As an explanation of Peter Capaldi playing Caecilius (Roman guy in Fires of Pompeii) and John Frobisher, RTD suggested that Frobisher could be a descendant of Caecilius. Steven Moffat later leaned into this idea too, saying that Frobisher’s murder-suicide was time reasserting itself after the Doctor interfered in Pompeii.

Well they explianed what the kids are used for. They are drugs. Well that was dark. Jack killing his grandson to save millions of other kids. It's the trolley philisophical question taken to the extreme. Hmm, since the kids all ended up saved in the end, except for Jack's grandson, Frobisher killed his whole family for nothing. That sucks. I can overlook reusing actors for different parts if they are playing minor parts. BUt Capaldi is going from a major character in a 5 part entire season arc, to the central character in another arc. I don't like that. Give someone else a job damn it.

Well if Marvel can bring back Downey Jr to be Doctor Doom after Iron Man, then why can't Doctor Who and Torchwood reuse actors as well.

The 456 did all of this just so they can get high, stealing children and threatening to kill the human race just to get high, that is fucked up!! So are the rest of the species just drug dealers or mob bosses that's why their so secretive? Maybe that's why I think the 456 are so creepy because we know nothing about, their culture, race or anything, they could working for another alien race or who knows. As for the ending I think the show was intended to end here. There wasn't meant to be another season, this episode was supposed to be the finale.
