I feel you on the decision paralysis deciding what to drink. The amount of times i’ve gone to order food, not be able to decide what to order and then all the food places close because i took too long to decide so i end up just going to bed with no food. Yeah i’m not a fan of the Izzie and dead Denny stuff at all. Just drags on so much with the weird soap opera stuff. I do think it’s an interesting way to lead into an illness as a basic concept, but it should have been way shorter if that’s what they want to do. I understand tensions are high, but the way Derek treated Bailey there was so unprofessional and so nasty. He’s her superior and shouldn’t be embarrassing her like that. I dunno, as icky as it seems on paper with her being 24 and him being, I assume in his early 40s? I just can’t hate the Lexie and Mark relationship. They just have great chemistry and mentally she’s probably far more mature than him honestly. It should be everything I hate, but I just can’t. Nice from Derek with Meredith in this one. Seems like he’s finally maturing when it comes to their relationship. Nice moment between Cristina and Meredith too at the end.

I think serial killer dude was manipulating Merdith. I think he saw this as one more opportunity to destroy a woman. He tells her he wants to die, when she helps him in that direction, he tells the next person, Cristina, “help me”, “I want to live”, like she was killing him. Some of the things he says are true, but the truth can be used to manipulate. What are you trying to say Shan about Denny and Izzy being to soap opera like? Is Grey’s the new Passions? Weber says he crossed a line because he pushed for the woman to donate her husband’s organs. That’s not allowed. Once they say no, you stop. You can’t pressure them. It’s a case of no means no. Bailey’s break down after she sees the boy woke up really gets me in the feels. She is always so strong that when she’s losses it, the impact is big. This wouldn’t work het if she lost it in the OR too. That’s why they had her more resolute in that scene. So they could have it have more impact at the end. He was getting lethal injection. They lay you down for that. They shave your head and sit you up for death by electric chair. Which is still an option in some parts of US. I like the episode. I felt it had some strong themes. It felt like a mid-season episode.

I agree with you about not loving the whole Izzie and Denny thing, ?personally, because I was never that big of a fan of their relationship anyway, and I do think that it could've been less drawn out. But when you think about it, it does kind of make sense plot-wise. The way I see it, Denny is Izzie's hallucination, not just because she lost him, but also because he's like a manifestation of grief and death to her, and as much as she used to love him, she identifies him with a lot of negative emotions because of everything that happened. The fact that it took them so long to get the point of why Denny is here is I think because it took Izzie this long to figure out for herself that she's probably sick. Since Denny is a multi-sensory hallucination (she can see him, hear him, touch him, smell him), Izzie isn't actually interacting with anyone, which means all of these conversations and encounters she's been having with him are actually with herself, and everything Denny says and does is being made up by her brain based on what she knew about him when he was alive and how she thinks he would act. When she gets mad at Denny for not just telling her she was sick, he couldn't have told her because he's not real, and she hadn't figured it out herself yet. Also, I'm kind of surprised that Alex didn't consider that Izzie could be sick when she told him she's been seeing Denny. I mean, he's literally a doctor who works in a hospital where they see these kinds of things every day, and I feel like hearing that your girlfriend is hallucinating a dead person should be an immediate cause for concern that there's something wrong with her brain.
