I've got to say i have always loved this episode. I love the side of Derek we see. In Greys it seems like Mark is his only friend, and his life resolves around Meredith, but this episode shoes that he had friends, (and sisters), who clearly mean a lot to him, and we see the Friendship that Addie and Derek had before things got bad between them, i really love it. i have some complicated feelings about Derek, but this episode i really like him, and it always makes me wonder if at this point of Greys whether he would have been a better fit for Private Practice.

I know it’s TV and everything but it really does make no sense that they transported Archer to Seattle rather than having Derek go to him. I assume we’re supposed to believe that they flew him up because it would be a like 20 hour drive otherwise, but flying someone in that state seems extremely dangerous with the pressure changes and stuff when they’re talking about a sack in his brain that could explode at any second… They had to give Naomi an annoying conversation with Derek that went on too long just to make sure greys only viewers found her annoying too. I feel like it’s a little bit anticlimactic because i feel like they probably wouldn’t do this big crossover thing just to have the character die. Honestly knowing this show maybe they would, but it would feel weird if they did. I think they put a lot of people on asthma pumps as kids to see if it helps or not by only people that really need them keep them into adulthood. That’s what happened for me at least. I had shortness of breath a lot when i was young and they tried me on 3 or 4 different inhalers but none of them helped. Yeah nice episode and good to see more of Derek’s life and how he and mark fit into the friendship group back in the day with Addison Naomi and Sam.

Yes, it is normal to occasionally not see wear things are that are obvious. I’ve done it, looking for sunglasses when they are on my head, facing up. Looking for cell phone when its clipped to waist. A guy at work spent 5 minutes looks for his hardhat, he was holding it lodged between his arm and waist. It happens. It’s also possible she accidentally snorted some of that glitter and she had a unicorn high. Hey look it’s Holland. He’ll be safe as long as Dru and Darla stay out of his room. OK, continuing with the pregnant woman that ran over her husband storyline. You may already know this but just in case ( I think I mentioned in comment section in a previous episode). Addison’s brother is a neurologist. Derek is a neurosurgeon. Neurologist, unlike neurosurgeons, fix brain issues without surgery. Usually with medications or other noninvasive techniques. It was subtle but there were some hints that Sadie was falling behind the other interns, who themselves were not learning as they should. Yes, the intern issue was mostly due to the residents hogging all the surgeries until recently. But still, there were some minor clues that Sadie was much further behind. I do agree the show should have put a little more emphasis on this in earlier episodes. Asthma is a lifelong disease. Some kids develop problems with wheezing with is usually addressed with an inhaler. But this is not asthma. A majority of these kids with wheezing issues grow out of it when they get older or only have issues with it when they are sick. They definitely seem to be alluding to something going on with Izzy. Damn Sloan, through Derek’s proposal at Addison just to stop Derek hearing about him and Lexy. Looks like Sadie is out. I never really liked her. The song was definitely mega cringe. But you are also right that it is nice to see the interaction of Derek with the people from his past from PP. We know they were friends but its kewl to actually see that friendship. Well that’s a hell of a way to end an episode. Not even a ‘To Be Continued’. Wouldn’t it be crazy if they don’t continue with that. Just ignore they way they left it with that woman going into whatever that was. Never mention it again. LoL
