Heyy what’s up everyone Happy 2026. It’s the second episode and just like with The 9th and the 10th incarnation this episode featured the Doctor taking a new companion into the distant future for her first trip in the TARDIS. Two of the pupils in the classroom were played by the director of this episode and the next, Andrew Gunn's children, Iola and Olen. This was Steven Moffats least favourite episode but he mellowed on it over the years and now he likes it again. I agree it’s a little messy, they were in a Whales mouth and got sneezed out, no other show gives you that! I love it, Amy proves herself by saving a whale in outer space and saving the Doctor in return by making sure he didn’t make a huge but understandable mistake. 3 out of 5 stars

Bows are cool also. :}

5x1 OK, a Time Lord meets a Time Master. Who is in charge. I thought "Wow, that little girl really does look like Karen Gillian". Caitlin Blackwood, who plays Young Amy Pond, is the cousin of Karen Gillan. Interesting intro to the season and new Doctor. Part of me rebels, I liked David Tennant Doctor. But I will be open minded and give Matt a chance. 5x2 OK, weird note here, when Amy was floating in spce above the Doctor has he held her ankle he was looking up at her grinning. She was wearing a robe. He was looking UP AT HER. Uh Hum. Bad Doctor. I agree on it being difficult to understand conversations in this episode. Over all, I liked the story.

The new Tardis interior is a redress of the Torchwood Hub set. Since the hub had been blown up in Children Of Earth & at the time Torchwood was done anyways, so they took the set & reworked it into the new Tardis I like this episode, I like the idea of star whale being kind & still helping after being released from the torture, The Doctor getting angry over the torture, which in this situation felt justified & Amy recognizing the kindness of the star whale from The Doctor. I'm not a big fan of the Smiler robots though. It seems like they just did something that would be a generic creepy stereotype, they weren't needed or at least not to look like that. They either could've just ben some generic robot design or something more scary.

England gets its own ship in the future, wonder what happened to the rest of the world about now. Also the Doctor and Amy end up in a whale's mouth, similar to Pinocchio, Marlin and Dory, however Doc and Amy were puked out lol. Still could be worse, at least they didn't escape using the other end.
