I think the way they did the reveal that this was george was really good. There’s a few moments if you watch this episode back where they’re talking about George while working on “John Doe” where someone says the name “George O’Malley” and the camera focuses on his face for a second. I definitely didn’t see it coming when i first watched but looking back it is odd that George’s story was such a big part of this episode and as far as we can see at the time he isn’t on screen. The post-it wedding is an iconic scene and one that’s referenced a lot when people talk about greys. Very cute moment and seems very fitting for their characters. It did feel a bit obvious that was going to be the time that Izzie starts to remember, but still a nice moment i think. I really liked the scene with Bailey talking to Richard and the explaining that while she is allowing her husband’s ultimatum to affect the decision she’s making, it’s not to stop him leaving but because she’s already made that decision to leave and doesn’t think she can take on the fellowship right now. Decent season overall I think. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Izzie and Denny hallucinations but i do think it ended up working decently well in the end when it was revealed why she was seeing him.

Last episode I agreed with you on Alex’s growth. I liked the growth Meredith and Cristina show in this episode. Cristina wanting to hug a friend and smiling about it. Very cute. Telling Hunt she loves him. Crazy. Bailey is leaving husband and Arizona. Lots of hero themes in this episode, George joining Army, Hunt was in Army, Arizona’s brother died in military, George (again) jumps in front of bus to save woman and getting severely injured. Double cliff hanger. Watching the show as it aired there was a 6 month break after this episode until the next.
