Patrick - Excelsior

The theme song for this episode was performed by Curt Smith, one half of the 80's band "Tears for Fears". Curt Smith also appears in the episode. When Lassiter walks into the precinct with Declan Rand (Nestor Carbonell), he tells an officer to "take this Joker down to interrogation room 'A." This is a reference to Carbonell's role as Gotham's mayor in The Dark Knight. Juliet thought it was odd that Shawn asked her out while standing next to a dead body, immediately after accepting a date with Declan next to the same dead body.

Yup, Jimmy Olsen is the new younger version of Shawn. Shawn finally deciding to ask out Juliet, she said no and at the police station she gave Shawn a second chance but Shawn pussies out, I want to punch Shawn in the dick for not just asking her out then. I enjoyed the intro, but I like the singer though, it's not my favorite special intro but it's not my least favorite either. I know Alicia Silverstone from the movie The Crush, which also stars Cary Elwes from the princess bride and also plays Pierre Despereaux on Pysch. I first heard the cover of Mad World before the Tears for Fears version which Curt Smith is singing in this episode, I personally like the cover version better, but hearing Curt Smith singing it in this episode sounds similar to the cover version. I am a twin and my brother is left handed and the killer is left handed in this episode, so lefties are the worst, also I never got along with my twin brother at all really when we were young, but now I'm grown up we get along great now. I liked this episode a lot.
