6x4 A good episode. Some nice moments with Meredith and Lexi. Even Thatcher earned a little respect for owning his abandonment of Meredith. Meredith doing the transplant for Lexi (I liked the line “I do have a sister and it’s good). And even pushing Thatcher to accept the liver for Lexi sake and the possibility of the two of them getting to know each other as well. Webber being kind to Torres was kewl. I liked Derek being supportive of Meredith by staying out of her way while she makes her decision and letting her know he supports her decision either way. I figured the guy with cancer would die too. Good point you made Shan about having the liver transplant stryline to explain Ellen not being as physically active in episodes. 6x5 Some cut-throat antics here. Until I learn some names all the Mercy west people are just “invader” to me in these notes. I actually kind of felt for Otis-Invader under he revealed he was using Izzy as his “bitch”. I get the daughter that is pissed off at Karev and the Invader fighting over her father’s treatment. Lexi playing dirty, who would have thought she had it in her to use the Invader’s diary against her. Izzy left because she no longer works at the hospital and Webber said that Karev questioned whether she could handle the job after her cancer. That isn’t what he was trying to say but it may have come across that way. But in any case, Izzy thinks Karev told the chief she couldn’t handle it post cancer. She feels Karev sabotaged her, even if for her own good, he sabotaged her. She feels betrayed by him.

Love your reactions. Another perfect episode, with Greg Laswell singing "Your Ghost" ( I Think Last Night) and Sarah Drew ( April Kepner). For all the men and women out there, if you're going to write in your journal and you don't want other people reading it, learn how to write in "Kree Grlyphs". I don't remember anything else but I know this show very well. '"Everything"" is a business and the only thing that matters is making money,

This is a big episode. A lot of people see this as a major point of change in the show as we have all the new residents coming in, basically doubling the size of the cast. Honestly with Izzie as unfortunate as it is with the timing with her cancer and the implications of letting someone go due to that, I can't say I massively think that she deserves to keep her job. She's made a lot of mistakes that honestly should have seen her terminated a long time ago. I don't really love the cliquiness and animosity right now and the backstabbing, but I think it works for the story they're going for. I hate the guy that betrayed Izzie, even if I don't really like her. I thought the stuff with Callie's dad, while it was infuriating at the start, I really like how they wrote the whole story there in this episode. Arizona being the one to talk sense into him was really beautiful. I don't think he's a bad guy, he just has/had some very backwards views. But I think he showed here that he is willing and able to learn and grow and at the end of the day Callie's happiness is the most important thing to him.
