We know your doing alright- I knoooooo I’m no superman. This episode was directed by Will Mackenzie, not the spotty student from The Inbetweeners. John C. McGinley (Dr Cox) is really proud of his work in this episode and his monologues in the last episode. 10/10 no notes. The entire cast are working together as a well oiled machine at this point. J.D. ties a noose around his neck while listening to a girl's boring story at the bar. This had been done before by the Film ‘Airplane’ - still funny. When Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) asks if J.D. wants to commit "harakiri", he is referring to seppuku, a ritual form of Japanese suicide by disembowelment. The show was picked up for 13 episodes and at this point in production the cast knew they were shooting and getting paid for the back 9 so they would have been getting paid till early May. Those nights out in the club are looking pretty good right about now. J.D. and Elliot have a real relationship, but it’s on TV, so that scene on the roof with it just being silent and being allowed to have that moment is what makes the scene so good. I’ve never seen the Janitor spit out medical jargon before. The handshake between Elliot and Turk still exists today and goes for on about 20 minutes. I’m out!

I love Dr. Cox the most, I keep commenting that he is the best, I just love his character the most, one minute he is an a-hole the next he is vulnerable I just love the actors performance. I liked the talk Turk and Elliot have on why they may not hang out anymore, you may like the ex, but don't want to betray your best friend in the world.
