The whole Sara thing is weird. That’s probably Michael’s main motivation to get whistler out, so it clearly doesn’t make sense to take her out. But this is kinda what I referred to at start of season, we never really get a good look at her. they wrote and filmed it in a way that Lincoln only looked very quickly, so maybe it was her (if she couldn’t return after giving birth) , or cause he didn’t really look closely, they can say it wasn’t actually her and was a lookalike, and can write her back into next season. Directors left it open for possible return. I won’t say which it is, as you said you didn’t want to know if she does return or not. So we’ll leave that there. For the episode, yes it is good they finally start to show a start of an escape plan, with a short season. Makes you wonder why Michael wanted inside that box outside, and why taping it was important. What could that lead to.

It was around this time I had started binge watching the show, I remember articles & online posts trashing killing Sarah, especially how it was done. You're right that it does give the company less leverage so it wasn't the best move strategically. I assume the writer's realized they couldn't go on faking Sarah with a double shot from behind the whole time. It wasn't just pregnancy, but Sarah Wayne Callies only had a 2 season contract & they couldn't come to terms on money so the choice was made to write her out & they had limited options, but still maybe could've handled it better, maybe saying she & LJ were taken away to a more secure location & no further contact will be allowed until Whistler is out. I really liked Sona prison as a setting. They used an old abandoned prison in Texas where the original Walker Texas Ranger with Chuck Norris had also used. The prison when dressed up like they did had a great look to it & the no guards on the inside gave it an extra element to set it apart from Fox River. Also I'm guessing it was also to make Michael setting up a successful escape in les then a week more believable without guards looking over your shoulder all the time. It's good to get Sucre in on the action now. So far he was just hanging around Pana will no role to play in the story, but now he gets something to do. The irony of Bellick now being the rat that gets screwed over by trying to snitch of Michael & getting tortured by an authority figure. You'd think he'd no better after how he treated Twener & who knows how many other people prior to the start of the show.
